One of the greatest motorcycle rides I've taken was with my wife while on the island of Honolulu.  Here we are taking a break at Diamond Head Park.

August 2005 driving through the hills of Wyoming a quote from a friend mine came to me, "Life is not a journey to the grave with the expectation of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body; but rather to 'skid in' broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming, 'Wow! What a Ride!' My 2005 trip to Sturgis, SD was just that a Journey & a Ride, I was able to share with my Father, Brother and other family members and friends. On August 1st 2006 I started back west again riding over 5,000 miles in 10 days and traveling through 19 states. The highlight of this years trip was riding my Harley-Davidson to the top of Pikes Peak 14,110 ft.

2006 Cross country trip: I left of August 1st 2006 and spent 10 days riding my Harley-Davidson over 5,000 miles across this great country. Along the way I crossed through 19 states and met some outstanding Americans. Including farmers in Iowa hit by the heat wave, a Texan who runs a small ma pop hotel that has thrived based on oil workers returning after 20 years to oil fields. I traveled I-10 through Louisiana, Mississippi & Alabama observing first hand the devastation left by Katrina, that sits not yet repaired after over a year. All and all it was an outstanding adventure.

Kayaking has become a big part of my wife & my weekend enjoyment.  Early on a cool winter morning while fishing from my Kayak, in my backyard, I came across this 34 Inch Snook.  I caught it on light tackle in the flats between St. Joseph Sound and Hurricane Pass.  It's always a great day on the water when you can catch a westcoast grand slam (1-Snook, 2-Reds & 3-Spotted Sea Trout).  Support Wildlife Conservation Catch all you can, but keep only what you can eat that evening.  To catch and release is to catch again another day.

Family always comes first ! ! !
Here my Dad and I leave from Blueridge, Georgia for an afternoon of sport bike riding along the twisty curves of the North Georgia & North Carolina Mountain roads. This days plan was to hit Deals Gap. For information about Real Estate opportunities in the North Georgia Mountains call:
